This was indeed the Original Spidey from my childhood that I remember.
If you remember these original installments on Saturday mornings, you're in luck.
They've been digitally remastered, all 52 episodes from 67'-70'.
Kudos to Stan Lee and Marvel for putting this out.
Great collector's item, and your kids will appreciate the original Spidey.

WHEN I WAS A KID, I ALWAYS WANT TO BE LIKE SPIDERMAN, BECAUSE I USED TO SEE THE 60,s CARTOON OF HIM, OF COURSE IM TALKING ABOUT THE 80,s.
IN THIS COLLECTION WE CAN SEE THE ORIGINAL SPIDERMAN, ALL THE EPISODES ARE MADE IN COLOR AND WITH EXCELLENT SOUND QUALITY. THIS WERE THE BEST CARTOONS OF SPIDERMAN UNTIL NOW.
IF YOU BUY IT, IM SURE THAT YOU WILL ENJOY IT.

Our 8-year-old daughter enjoys these. When she first saw Spider-Man swinging through the city on his web line, she gasped "Wow!" and wished she could do it too. Not as fast-paced and engaging as newer superhero cartoons like Kim Possible and Teen Titans (both recommended), but also less violent, still good for this age group. I enjoyed these cartoons as a kid too.

If you're a fan of the masked webslinger than you definitely can't go wrong with the "Spider-Man 67" collection. The quality of both picture and sound are truly amazing to say the least. I used to run home every day from school to watch this show and I don't remember the colors or images being as sharp and vibrant as they are on the DVD's. As a huge "Spiderman" fan I give the Spider-Man 67 collection five stars for being an outstanding DVD set, but only four stars because it lacks bonus material. Surely the great Stan Lee could have provided the Studio with some type of extra material from his archives. Some fans will find the six DVD set a little pricey if they can even find it. The box set is well done and the six single sided discs are a welcomed bonus. The disc packaging and artwork in my opinion are well done and make this set great to own. Hey it's Spider-Man in all his webslinging glory, containing all 52 episodes restored and presented in glorious crime fighting color; what more could you want. Time to go my spider sense is tingling!
